the disease of racismReader comment on item: Something Rotten in Denmark? Submitted by truth (United States), Jul 4, 2008 at 20:37 It is so easy to stereotype people and make a general statement for all people of a particular group or country. To say that all Australians are descendants of criminals and a violent gene is always in them is just as wrong as to generalize about a group , Lebanese. What are the lebanese in your country's life like. Are jobs, housing , and respect given to them? What social problems are they facing in your country? It is so much easier to be a racist and condemn a whole race than to accept that a country that at one time was a penal colony , and later practically annihilated its indigenous people and would not allow people with dark skin to even visit their country, could also be at fault. truthseeker Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
