China's Role?

Reader comment on item: Korean Delusions [of Appeasement]

Submitted by Peter Westre (United States), Oct 9, 2002 at 11:33

A withdrawal/diminishment of American influence could also lead to an increase of China's political adventurism. Remember that N. Korea is a client state of the Chinese. This is a ball that rolls outside of the Korean peninsula (Think of the Phillipines, Japan, Taiwan, Indian subcontinent etc.)

Have the Chinese been linked with militant Islam and/or fomenting unrest?
