Once again we are faced with the dire consequences of open and uncontrolled immigration, ethnic and religious conflict, and the voluntary self-segregation of new immigrants into their new homelands. An alliance between self-serving cheap labor employers, liberal immigration advocates, and spineless politicians has created this malignancy that now infects Western Europe, Canada, Australia, and the United States. We are now witness to the utter failure of the socialist multiculturalism mantra that addresses white prejudice but has never coped with ethnic and religious xenophobia directed at Western Civilization.

The abject failure of the generous welfare programs is strikingly apparent as their only accomplishments has been in the production of so-called disaffected youths and lethargy among its recipients. Now isolated and insulated from their fellow countrymen these new citizens are nothing but pawns of radical ideologues that have fanned the flames of racial and religious hatred with rumors and propaganda. So how do we as a civilized, democratic, pluralistic, Western society address these problems? Here is my own personal opinion, as a native New Yorker, living in a rainbow city, in the oldest democratic nation on earth.

1. Immigration numbers should be reduced to a minimum consistent with stabilizing the native population and in concert with economic conditions.
2. Employers who hire illegal aliens must face both criminal and civil law prosecution for hiring unauthorized workers. This is now a national security issue.
3. Efforts to promote the concept of immigrant" social persecution" should be abandoned as they invite massive fraud and endanger people in genuine need of asylum.
4. The educational system must teach and show respect for the history, laws, customs, institutions, and religious heritage of their homelands.
5. Illegal aliens who commit crimes or promote terrorism against their new homelands must be instantly deported after their release from prison.
6. All new legal citizens must pass a probationary period of three years to insure their compatibility with their new homeland.
7. We must balance our individual freedoms with the need to provide the majority of our population with security and stability. This necessitates the institution of mandatory national ID cards; these cards should be a tamper proof as technologically possible and married to a national computer database.
8. Welfare must be time limited and conditional, it must be redesigned to enforce behavioral change among its recipients. Western societies can no longer afford to promote and reward negative behavior.
9. We must never allow any area or region of our beloved homelands to be considered ungovernable, beyond the law, or in the control of criminals. And certainly we must never, ever, allow our societies to be hijacked or controlled by violent foreign-born criminals or terrorists.
10. All new citizens must be fluent in the native language of their new homeland and have a basic understanding of its cultural heritage, history, and legal system.
