'Tis Intolerance Not To Tolerate Islam's Intolerance! ...So They Say.
Reader comment on item: Europe under Siege

Submitted by orange yonason (United States), Oct 23, 2005 at 17:32

BS"D

It's the many many "little" things that, when summed over a long time, eventully add up to (or, when negative, take away) a whole lot.

Bit by inexorable bit, the poison shuts down one neuron at a time. Barely perceptible changes slowly accrue, until suddenly the victim becomes aware of his paralysis, but by then it is too late to act.

I am sorry to be the one to inform you, but Europe is NOT "under siege." The "Straw Men" have nodded their assent... Europe has already surrendered, and is slowly being transformed at this very moment. And the following is a brief glimpse of the process in action.

"Winnie the Pooh's Friend Piglet Banned in British Municipal Office - "Offends Muslim Staff" " (and just an uncomfortable bit more)

As Mark Steyn says, "When the Queen knights a Muslim "community leader" whose line on the Rushdie fatwa was that "death is perhaps too easy", and when the Prime Minister has a Muslim "adviser" who is a Holocaust-denier and thinks the Iraq war was cooked up by a conspiracy of Freemasons and Jews, and when the Prime Minister's wife leads the legal battle for a Talibanesque dress code in British schools, you don't need a pig to know which side's bringing home the bacon."

They are, as T.S.Elliot so aptly perceived, going out... "Not with a bang but a whimper."

And with the conservative "NeoCons" knuckling under to foreign and domestic leftist and Islamist pressure, how will America not be far behind?
