Gaza withdrawal

I agree with your analysis of the Gaza withdrawal. But I try to be optimistic that they are strategic merits in the disengagement: releasing the need for so many Israeli troops to defend the few settlers surrounded by hostile Arabs, removing more than a million Arabs from the population/demographic equation, but--most important--strengthening the retention of West Bank settlements.
