Another Muslim defender of democracy sighted

Reader comment on item: The Khadrs, Canada's First Family of Terrorism, in the News

Dear Dr Pipes,

You can easily smell hypocrisy when you find a Muslim defender of democracy living in a non-Islamic country. I stumbled upon another such person. Faiza Patel dutifully works for NYU's Brennan Center of Justice (where else except in a center of Justice) and writes about topics like Rethinking Radicalization, Countering Violent Extremism and Extreme Vetting and the Muslim Ban (what else except defend the rights of Muslims in the already sufficiently democratic societies). If you did some good research you will find that Ms Patel was born in Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

I, as always, wonder why these defenders of democracy and human rights do not defend democracy and human rights in the Islamic republics. But, perhaps, I think about unnecessary topics.
