Canadian Reaction - Omar Khadr

Reader comment on item: The Khadrs, Canada's First Family of Terrorism, in the News
in response to reader comment: Please do not return Omar Khadr to Canada, ..we do not want him ! ...Apr. 2010

Submitted by Diane1976 (Canada), Apr 5, 2010 at 22:28

Canadian public opinion on whether Khadr should be repatriated is evenly split. Many who oppose repatriation blame him for everything every member of his family ever did or said, or have erroneous notions about what he's actually charged with, which is unfair and stupid. But a lot of them are taking their lead from the minority Conservative government, so it's not really their fault.
