The Western viewpoint includes an ideal of freedom. Hopefully some future Khadrs will develop similar notions after experiencing freedoms effects here. Even if they do not understand the 'Golden Rule', then Canada's generosity may still lesson any explosive dispositions socio-psycho or otherwise.

Bringing back Omar khadr is a hedge with the devil you know.
