Hi Jeff;

Are you aware that the government of Canada is hiring a pakistani immigrant (he immigrated to Canada in 1973, and he used to be an army officer in Pakiland and he is now an MP), as an expert on relations between Canada and the Arabic and Islamic world!

This is just amazing. What qualifications does this guy have for such job? The chances are like all Pakistanis he knows no Arabic, and I do not see that he has some degree in political science. I'm sure that like all Pakistanis he is no Arab but still aspires to be an Arab (Arabian imperialism). And what do the Arabs think of pakistanis? Not very much. Arabs are racists and they do not like pakistanis.

This is like hiring my Brazilian cleaning lady (and she is a lovely lady) to be the representative of the United States in let us say Spanish speaking South America. As far as I know she has no degree in political science and only speaks Portuguese and speaks no Spanish.

Tell your politicians that the Arabs and Muslims would expect a white person to be representing Canada that is all. And also tell them that Pakistanis are as different from the Arabs as white or black Americans would be different from let us say the japanese. This gesture will It will not be appreciated by the Arabs.

So much for naive Canadians.
