continually repeating something when it is clearly false means what?

Reader comment on item: Canada's Muslims, Not of One Mind
in response to reader comment: I still repeat learn Islam

Mr Slayhy, seemingly a privileged arab from UAE and a self-acknowledged practitioner of the 'correct' form of Islam, writes:

"The Great Infidel on Earth is making news paper from hate monger sources, I don't have the time to respond to all the rubbish he says."

If by the 'Great Infidel on earth' Mr Slahy is referring to myself, - please note - the only sources linked to so far are WikiIslam and wikipedia. The Wikipedia article linked to yesterday on Pegasus - the Flying Horse of the Ancient greeks - describes many similarities with Al-Burak. The other article linked to last week listed the treatment of non-muslims by muslims in muslim dominated countries. Both sites are public access and in the case of wikipedia - errors in content are quickly pointed out by aggrieved parties and rectified.

In the case of the WikiIslam article on muslim persecution of non-muslims, deliberate reporting of untruths would be immediately pointed out by aggrieved muslims upset that their activities had been put in a bad light. If they can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that any point mentioned did NOT occur then the article is edited almost as soon as the facts are tendered and verified. The facts mentioned in WikiIslam DID occur and are historical fact and the best muslim revisionist spin cannot change things. The fact that the ancient Greeks had a 'heavenly creature' , a white winged horse which predated the preposterous Al-Burak by millenia is historical fact.

"...I say it again, read Islam from the proper sources, not from the enemies, hate mongers of Islam "

At last we see some humour from Mr Slayhy...very funny. The hate mongers of Islam are Islamists - I would never describe myself as an Islamist.

"...Islam is a beautiful religion, when you know it, thousands and thousands of Christians turn to Islam because they know it is the true religion"

Mr Slayhy might be referring to any of numerous events that continue to happen up to the present day. Does he mean:

"In 2001 the Indonesian army evacuated hundreds of Christian refugees from the remote Kesui and Teor islands in Maluku (province) after the refugees stated that they had been forced to convert to Islam. According to reports, some of the men had been circumcised against their will, and a paramilitary group involved in the incident confirmed that circumcisions had taken place while denying any element of coercion. [46]"

or possibly

"..In 2004 Coptic Christians in Egypt occupied the main Coptic cathedral in Cairo for several days, angry at the disappearance of a priest's wife in a village in the Nile delta, who, they alleged, had been forced to convert to Islam. The BBC reported that allegations of forced conversions of Copts to Islam surface every year in Egypt. Other notables among these have been the cases of Iraq's Mandaeans, Egypt's Coptic Orthodox Christians, Christians of Pakistan] and Assyrian Christians of Iraq who have faced coercion to convert to Islam."

or

"In 2006 two journalists of the Fox News Network had been kidnapped and forced to convert to Islam at gunpoint. After conversion they were made to read statements on videotape proclaiming that they had converted, after which they were released by their captors."

or

"There have been numerous reports of Islamic attempts to forcibly convert religious minorities in Iraq. In Baghdad, Christians have been told to convert to Islam, pay the jizya or die. In March 2007 the BBC reported that people in the Mandaean religious minority in Iraq alleged that they were being targeted by Islamist insurgents, who offered them the choice of conversion or death.]"

or

"In October 2009 it was reported that Muslim groups in the Indian state of Kerala have been engaging in a "Love Jihad", whereby Muslim men were trained to seduce college-going Hindu and Christian girls to marry them and forcibly convert to Islam. Both Hindu and Catholic Christian groups in the state expressed alarm at this trend and have been working together to protest this trend. The High Court in the state has resolved to probe the matter. The primary Islamic group currently being held responsible for this is the Islamic extremist front Popular Front of India, a conglomeration of radical Islamist groups disguised as civil rights groups that are dedicated to implementing IslamicSharia law in Hindu majority India"

or

"The Ladakh Buddhist Association has said: "There is a deliberate and organised design to convert Kargil's Buddhists to Islam. In the last four years, about 50 girls and married women with children were taken and converted from village Wakha alone. If this continues unchecked, we fear that Buddhists will be wiped out from Kargil in the next two decades or so. Anyone objecting to such allurement and conversions is harassed." In 1998 Prankote massacre, 26 Kashmiri Hindus were beheaded by Islamist militants after their denial of converting into Islam. The militants struck when the villagers refused demands from the gunmen to convert to Islam and prove their conversion by eating beef."

or

"Around 25 Hindu girls are abducted every month and converted to Islam forcibly in Pakistan, as reported by Pakistani media."

or

"In May 2007, members of the Christian community of Charsadda in the North West Frontier Province of Pakistan, close to the border of Afghanistan, reported that they had received letters threatening bombings if they did not convert to Islam, and that the police were not taking their fears seriously.[68] Although eventually no actual action was taken on that threat by the terrorists."

or

"...In June 2009, International Christian Concern (ICC) reported the rape and killing of a Christian man in Pakistan, for refusing to convert to Islam. In August 2009, ICC reported that four Christians working to help orphans in Somalia were beheaded by Islamist extremists when they refused to convert to Islam."

or

"Sikhs in Pakistan, concentrated in the Lahore area, have been constantly under a threat to convert to Islam. As jizya was legalized by the Government of Pakistan in 2009, the Taliban have been kidnapping minority communities to claim this tax;[72] while officials use a significantly pro-Islam constitution to encourage conversions without direct participation"

or etc etc etc ad nauseam. and we haven't even looked at North Africa.

Mr Slayhy has neglected to mention the gentle Islamic persuasion outlined above that it took for the 'thousands of Christians" (and Hindus) to see the 'beauty' of islam.

"..It is the final religion that affirms and supercedes all came before. READ IT FROM pROPER SOURCES"

Incorrect . It is a fascist arab-derived political system disguised as a religion that seeks to supplant itself above all other systems and beliefs. Far saner and healthier cosmologies and better outcomes are available in the inner teachings of every other religion - Buddhism, Christianity and Judaism. With no requirement to babble submission to al Kidih Fid'ullah.
