The myth

Reader comment on item: Canada's Muslims, Not of One Mind
in response to reader comment: Was Aisha 9 years old when she got married?

Submitted by Adam (United Kingdom), Dec 17, 2015 at 12:04

Salamu Alaykum brother (s) I have been battling this myth and those who are trying to keep it alive and giving all sorts of excuses to the world, that people got married aged 9 or 10 it maybe true, but not in Islamic traditions.

What really gets me, is "our" so called renowned scholars such as Naik Zaki and many others who are keeping this myth alive, offering some pathetic excuses to clear the Prophet's name from all of these accusations.
Thanks you for all your hard work, and support may Allah reward you all for your efforts.
