On being born Muslim

Reader comment on item: What Is Israel's Next Move In The New Middle East?
in response to reader comment: The Actions of Muslims In Tahrer Square and in Egypt Make Me Ashamed of Being Born Into Islam

I do not believe any man shoud be ashamed of who he is or where he came from. We are all individuals and each capable of making up our minds about the kind of people we will be in the world. It's simple, Life is a matter of choices. Choose wisely and live well. Choose otherwise and you make your life hell. The G-d of heaven gave you free will. You may choose to be wise or you may choose to be a fool but if you make the fools choice you can blame no one but yourself.

Islam is a house of many mirrors. You will see only what you are looking for. It is what you seek that defines you and defines the course of your life. If you seek wisdom you shall find it but if you seek power that power will destroy you for man is not to be given the power of G-D.

If a man dies with an ounce of hate in his heart he cannot enter Paradise.
