Reader comment on item: What Is Israel's Next Move In The New Middle East?

Submitted by Barry Black (United States), May 3, 2011 at 17:14

The past intifadas were the Palestinian version of non-violent protests, but in the future, as you say, they could take a lesson from actions in Tunisia, Yemen, and Egypt not to mention Syria. When properly planed and executed non-violent protest can spur violence on the other side and that will surely put Israel in a really bad light pitting Israel against the USA not to mention the UN. Don't give the Palestinians any ideas especially when the rift between Hamas and Fatah may be healed forming a hybrid entity where anything is possible.
