Militant Islam is a political agenda
Reader comment on item: Are We Safer?

Submitted by Saul Pfeffer (United States), Apr 30, 2002

Daniel Pipes has seen the present mid-east and Islamic situation coming for longer than some of us have been alive and we can only cheer him on and perhaps e-mail ourselves to death in support.

The best example of our leadership's vapid and yes, dumb, view of world realities was our Pres. GWBush saying to an audience "Anyone who thinks that Islam is about violence, dosn't understand etc etc..." As if ..." --Militant Islam is a political agenda, it does not tolerate other religions and it does not tolerate democracy.
