Tell it like it is Reader comment on item: Are We Safer?

Mr. Pipes is absolutely right on as usual, but nobody in the "mainstream" press seems to be listening, also as usual. As scary as it may seem, the world seems to be making the same mistakes they made preworld war II, pre Holocaust. "They" -- whomever "they" are -- don't seem to understand the significance of what is happening in the world. For the most part college age people are unconcerned that their futures are hanging in the balance; 20 somethings are only concerned about making the almighty buck, which may not be an option before too long, and those in power are only concerned about covering their butts from the last round of mistakes. "They"-- again "they" because I am not sure what to call them -- call Mr. Pipes and the other few clear thinking people like him, doom sayers, but "they" don't see the picture though clear glasses. Keep telling it like it is Mr. Pipes, and maybe soon those in power will listen to you.
