Vatican supports Islamic Banking

Reader comment on item: Islamic Economics: What Does It Mean?
in response to reader comment: Vatican supports Islamic Banking

Submitted by mohamad halim ben othman (Malaysia), Jan 29, 2010 at 03:55

The article submitted by Bary Sutoro on Vatican's support for Islamic Banking is interesting especially the quote "that great religions have always had a common intention to human dimension of the economy"

Economic activities are natural human activities conducted according to natural( primordial ) rules and regulations that ensures fairness to all.Profit gained from natural and fair practices are the natural objectives aspired by all humans.

However when greed, unfair practices such as hoarding and charging of interest /usury take place and are condoned this natural human activity is de humanised and in its place are activities by monsters cloaked in human forms and their institutions that exploit the weak ,poor and the naive,

The only redemption is for us to go back to our natural human instincts of fair play by eradicating the inhuman practices of economic abuse such as charging financial interest on loans and replace them with more amiable tools such as profit and loss sharing or transactions on real assets not on worthless papers and promises ( guarantees ).These are what we call ethical, natural as opposed to the unnatural make belief practices happening now. These are the human dimensions the Vatican and Islam talks about
and want implemented NOW before it is too late.
