Reader comment on item: Islamic Economics: What Does It Mean?
in response to reader comment: how about an islamic currency

Islamic banking is not truly islamic and i would personally like for people to stop using islamic in front of everything to justify things. and if any of you actually think that there are actual people recieving that oil money then you are sadly mistaken. the leaders of these corrupt regimes take most of for themselves while there people are living in shacks, and while in those shacks they see there kings and dictators waste it on junk and weapons he buys from the united states to protect himself from his own people who he mistreats and so the less then 1% commit an act of violence in revenge and then muslims as a whole are called evil.

The truth is there is no islamic banking if there is fiat currency as long as you have useless paper money not backed by gold you will always be in a debt based economy. They will cover their lies with false claims and they will sell it to us thinking we are gullible to believe it. A complete gold backed, interest free money system is the only way we as a society will advance to the next level. Usury or interest are holding us back and bringing sadness and struggle to billions around the world.

Interest is the leading cause of environmental pollution, over consumption, war, poverty, and government overspending and inflation. and thats just the top of the list there are much more side effects that i haven't mentioned. Its no wonder God has called it a sin to accept interest or charge it, when you wonder go use that credit card or go and buy those bonds remember you are apart of the cycle that puts poor people in africa into poverty, creates civil unrest and violence because of that poverty and leads our corporations to over consumption just to pay off the funds they borrow from banks.

The beautiful thing about Gold is that the banks can not charge interest on it because gold can only be found and not created, we the people and our governments, and our corporations dont have to pay interest and so we all benefit. Our government wont be able to over spend on useless programs and it will become more effecient and this will create a system of government resposibility, another good effect to this will be lower taxes for us all which means we have more money to spend and less debt to pay off. Corporations also benefit because they can sell there goods for lower prices because they dont have interest payments to pay off, and they also get more business because more people have money to spend. Our goal should be to promote social capitalism, capitalism that creates wealth for society as a whole maybe even a world with no need for welfare.
