M. Tovey's CommentsReader comment on item: Islamic Economics: What Does It Mean? Submitted by Bob in Germany (United States), Dec 16, 2008 at 09:23 Well put, M. Tovey. Well put. There is simply no escaping the solid witness of the Word of God. I work all day long with folks who approach Islam/Islamic-West Relations as a study of all things being equal. However, the fact is that serious problems exist within the foundation of Islam/Islamic history/Islamic texts. Neither the religion nor its texts can stand up to contextual criticism. Christianity and Judaism and the texts that guide their faiths continue to survive against the furious onslaught of atheists, secularists, cults, and antagonist faiths such as Islam. Thanks for your comments. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
