Good Morning Ynnatchkah:

Your points concerning Islam as a "Perfect Denial of Christianity" are quite interesting. I've never thought about this quite that way, having taken the easy way out- connecting the schism Islam caused rather with rejection of Judaism based on Abraham's casting out Hagar.

It is a very curious thing to me - this striving by radical Islamist Men for Death in order to acquire their 72 virgins. Just what do they expect from 72 virgins? Great, exquisite sexual pleasure? And for this, they wait for and seek Death? This is blasphemous!

G-d created us [and all gender based creatures] with built-in sexual attraction and innate urges to reproduce for the continuation of the species. Ample "incentives" to make the process desirable were definitely provided, causing most creatures of both sexes to spend a great deal of their time here on earth in its pursuit.

Seems to me, Muslim men treating women in their society as equally endowed Humans [instead of servant-cows-hidden-under-burqas, whose equal "person-hood" is denied by these males] might secure them a great deal of sexual pleasure with their own wives, right here on earth, and they won't have to become suicide-murders to get it. Perhaps the difference is: "from" virgins and "with" their wives.

Of course, I've lived a sheltered life and have not yet, alas, managed to travel to the Near or Middle East. There actually may be something wrong with Muslim women. More likely, there's something seriously wrong with Muslim men.

Men do not need to take any responsibility for creating their pleasure with their 72 virgins [who are the "active providers" mystically doing the creating and giving]; whereas, here on earth, some physical, emotional and mental activity is required [also] of males- including the need for them to take a modicum of romantic interest in their wives for their consistent acquisition of their own pleasure. What kind of man could take romantic interest in a sack-covered-servant-cow?? What a tragic waste! mariana
