Islamic clothing

The purpose of "islamic" clothing and demands for special public observance of the superstition is to mark the penetration of Islam into a given society, so that those who make the demands on behalf of Islam know when it is safe to make more and more demands. As long as that minority of Muslims who force Islamic superstitious observance on a majority, the slower will be the absorption of Muslims and Islamic ideas into society. Islam does contain a few ideas that the west can learn from and the western way of thought has ideas that Islam can benefit from.

By demanding separation into "them and us" Islam prevents the ordinary person who is a muslim from learning about and benefiting from western thought, and enjoying the benefits of democratic freedoms.
