A case of ignorance?

I realise that what my driver told me sounded exaggerated, but it was exactly what he told me. I'm happy that you have put the matter straight; perhaps he is ignorant of his own faith, or he is simply quite radical in his belief. Most people can argue 'til the cows come home about their own interpretation of the peculiar rules, regulations and laws in their religions.
