My Turkish Friends You are lucky you were not savagely beaten in the 1920s by the Greeks Good Ol Greek Political Infighting and the disregard for not MARCHING TROOPPS into CONSTANTINOPLE save you all. Yes..the battle near Ankara was close.....but Greeks were not savage enough. Sorry to say this. The Turks deserve all the bad things Greeks have done to them since 1820s....... Let's be honest to say that Greece is Greece and regretfully Turkey is Turkey.....but it took 400 years for you to conquer Anatolia since Manizikert..........THE BYZANTINES WERE attacked from the North, from the west and from East.......and you know what........given the right Emperor and maybe an ally......that was lacking even Venice kicked us around.....the TURKS WOULD HAVE LOST. Just like the Persians, Arabs , Countless Turkic Tribes. Anyways. you were beaten in 1800s and almost alost it all in Anatolia. Show some respect and remember these were Greek lands for 3000 years....you did NOT bring kitchen in from Mongolia. LOL. funny stuff.
