I am a Greek living in Australia surrounded by Turkish neighbours. Growing up with these turks is no different to growing up in a Greek family. We are very similar people with a shared history. Sure, there have been tough times between the nations but don't friends have tough times? What's the difference here? The amount of times thee Turks have supported our family and us them, demonstrates that other than religion and cultural variances, we are very much alike, and that we should learn from our past and move forwards as friends. To those stupid Greeks and Turks who advocate baseless comments, get a life and enjoy the spice of life that makes us all unique and interesting.
