Nonsensical premise?Reader comment on item: A New Axis: The Emerging Turkish-Israeli Entente Submitted by Levo (United States), May 12, 2009 at 15:14 First of all the very notion of an all out war between Greece and Turkey is at this conjecture complete nonsense as the latter is an EU aspirant! Secondly in such a highly unlikely scenario the notion that Greece could do much to resist before the Turkish Military makes its way all the way to Athens is yet another piece of rubbish. Let's face it Greece, with half the population of Istanbul does not stand a chance against a major Military power such as Turkey. However not to worry nobody is in any mood to ignite such an episode of lunacy :-) Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
