I like the Turks but I do not hate GreeksReader comment on item: A New Axis: The Emerging Turkish-Israeli Entente Submitted by Seamus MacNemi (United States), Jul 17, 2007 at 18:24 Somebody is always trying to put me on the spot because I won't take up the silly cause of Cyprus on the side of the Greeks. Why can't you leave the past in the past and start to think about the real possibilities of peace and the future. Must you continually beat the dead horse of your hurt feelings for past events and refuse to live in the present? Most of you who post on this forum weren't even alive when many of the things you complain about occured. All you know is the stories you've been told and these stories are always slanted to the favour of one side or the other. How about you just put all these old stories on the shelf for scholars to ponder and you get on with your lives in the real world. Then prehaps you just might be able to do something positive to solve the real problems of our world.
