I think that Bulent forgets that the turkish people, when they entered asia minor from the mongolian steppes didn't even have ovens to cook their food in. The turks were "byzantinized" by the greek populations of asia minor (and, yes, even taught how to build ships & sail them by the greeks who were always a sea fairing people). You may have ruled in Greece for a good 400 years, but what did you leave behind ? Nothing, but destruction & misery. Nothing of cultural significance & certainly no prosperity for the people. And by the way, the food you eat is of byzantine origin (yes, Greek). Even the sweet you call bahlava originally had a Greek name (just look up byzantine cuizine references, if you are game to know the truth).
