sugaring words in ways appealing to Islamists

Isn't selling to islamists good? reagan "sold" conservatism to the USA, (which was actually to civilization's detriment) and no doubt cons think of the great reagan as a good salesman. so, if obama kenobi can sell "medicine" to islamists using spoonfuls of sugar, don't cons approve?
