WHY SHOULDN'T TURKEY ENTER THE EUReader comment on item: Is Turkey Going Islamist? Submitted by Mihailidis (Bulgaria), May 29, 2009 at 03:12 I have nothing against the Turkish state and people, I even approve strengening EU ties with Turkey , but if we want to achieve this, there are many other forms of cooperation and association. The major problem is that Turkey is expected to become a nation bigger than any other state in the EU .
