Turkish AntiSemitism and the Islamist AgendaReader comment on item: Is Turkey Going Islamist? Submitted by Robert Corman (United States), Jun 8, 2005 at 11:39 I think Daniel Pipes' comments here are well couched. I wish he would have factored in the growing and unabashed levels of blatant Anti-Semitism that we see in the mainstream Turkish media and in the robust sales in Turkish bookstores of blood-libel and Holocaust 'debunking' books. These efforts to poison the mind of the public are precisely designed to create the environment and culture for Islamist fundamentalist success and the diminshment of the Ataturk secularism.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
