Is ARI credible?

Reader comment on item: Is Turkey Going Islamist?

Submitted by Pat (United States), Jun 8, 2005 at 17:57

MEMRI.org has an interview with the head of a Turkish think tank, ARI. His description of the US-Turkic relation doesn't bode well for secularism. It appears Turkey is turning toward the Islamist governments in the Middle East and away from the US and the West, even as it seeks EU membership.

Yes, ARI is an excellent organization. I am on the advisory board of its publication, the Turkish Policy Quarterly, http://www.turkishpolicy.com/.
