Turkey in the EU

Reader comment on item: Is Turkey Going Islamist?

Submitted by concerned citizen of EU (Poland), Jun 7, 2005 at 11:35

I would like to hear what Mr. Pipes thinks about membership of Turkey in EU? And if concerning hidden agenda, wouldn't it be the aim to increase Islamist power inside EU. Together with other Muslims in EU they will in longer perspective, reach a lot voices due to demographical reasons. Knowing that it is difficult to forget Erdogan's words at opening AKP office in Istambul: "Have babies, Allah wants them".
