"Donvan", I am almost overwhelmed by an honest response.
I went back and re-read your comment to me. What I had posted originally was, as you said, generalizations. It was a response to someone else who had not availed themselves of an enormous amount of "facts" and non-"babble" on this forum and many others.
The Daniel Pipes columns, under a lot of his titles and subtitles, list an absolute plethora of facts. Many others here have listed a lot of facts. I mistook you for another "Johnny-come-lately" who hadn't read much here. I have seen so many "facts" from so many sites, that I am positively stunned by the mass ignorance of the American population and their resulting blather.
I have looked long and hard on many sites to get everyone's list of facts and opinions. The liberal Democrats have bought into a lie so staggering in proportions, that it is hard to know where to begin relating it.
My opinion is a culmination of many posts that I have voluminously posted here. Most of my posting is very recent. I am 62 years old and know a lot of history (despite my efforts to distance myself from it) and, am frustatrated by America's obvious blundering into so many common mistakes already taught by that history.
You asked an honest question. However, your question was very general, also. What in particular is your curiosity leading you towards? Frankly, I'm blown away by someone who comes out with an apology and then asks for my "opinion". That is a rare happening and I give you credit for it. I could have mis-read you. The use of the word "babble" did offend me. I have been posting on a multitude of sites and, perhaps, got a little short or testy. I have been going strong for days.
The inability to open eyes in the liberal sector is a marvel. It is a marvel, because of the enormity of the lie and the backing of that "lie" from major U.S. "news" services. Did I mistake you for another liberal who wandered in?? Don't know.
