the irony given Obama's Kennedy-esque brand positioning
Reader comment on item: Obama's Connection to Sirhan Sirhan
in response to reader comment: Ayers-Sirhan Sirhan-Kennedy connection.

It's ironic. Obama is packaged basically as a black Kennedy - he has the degrees from the right schools, the big mansion with a big backyard around it, the carefully accessorized wife, the agile polished oratory, the attractive youthfulness and "vigor", the big white smile, and he's selling "hope" and "yes we can" as big as Camelot returning.

And yet, just behind these buccolic Kennedy-esque scrims, investigators on the ground are busy piecing together the stark chalk outline of his realities - hmm, his circles hate whites, his circles hate Jews, his circles hate Israel, his circles hate America. His circles have been convicted of illegal activities and given suspended sentences, his circles funded terrorism, and now it turns out his circles lauded the assassination of a Kennedy! Hmm, not much of a military record ... spent his life in academia ...

It sure makes us feel better to minimize or downright whitewash these indicators, as some commentators to this blog have done. But do they not wonder, given the sheer numbers of these? How likely is it they're all just "coincidences" or the exaggerations of "negative campaigning"? Are they all the "golly-gee" missteps of "boneheaded" mistakes?

Oh gosh, I didn't know my pastor of 20 years was a rabid hate monger and sheesh I had a bad feeling about going into that deal with a convict who got the money from another con barred from the U.S. whose money came from his special relationship with Saddam, and wow I never even had a clue that the charity my wife was so big on was actually a terrorist funding operation, and kikes (oops, I mean yikes) how was I supposed to know my friends and "frequent dinner companions" who were always so critical of Israel were actually dedicated to wiping it right off the face of the earth? And that thing about my friend hating America so much and being so tickled that Kennedy was gunned down that he dedicated his book to the killer ... well, I can't remember us discussing politics ... that much ... I mean, really, after he dedicated his book to Sirhan Sirhan he never spoke of his views on that again. Really. So how was I supposed to guess? After all, I'm not the brightest guy, but I do hope to become president of the most powerful country on earth, commander in chief, and set things right for lots more nice friends like these around the world!

No matter what other circles have yet to be drawn, shari'a thumping cousins or whatever, even given these alone, one has to wonder what rough beast its hour come round at last slouches "hopefully" and "boneheadedly" towards Washington to be sworn.
