Contrast of associationsReader comment on item: Obama's Connection to Sirhan Sirhan Submitted by Stephanie (United States), Nov 5, 2008 at 12:38 Dojo, The difference between Obama's associations and Bush's is the transparencies. The media details every move between Bush and Saudis and most meetings are handled as a matter of State. Plus, if we didn't have a very good relationship with the House of Saud, we might see gas prices go to $10 a gallon, which they might anyway seeing how OPEC is now acting. What Obama has been doing is behind closed doors with no attempt by the media to investigate. We don't know anything about these relationships. Maybe they are innocent, but there is no way to know for certain, all we get are denials and attempts at distancing. The crux of the issue is that they are so many in number. One you can say, OK, but person after person should start getting attention. It isn't fear, it's called common sense. If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck and associates with other ducks, well, it just might be a duck.
