Those are some twisted facts.

Truth:

70% of the world's oil reserves are located in the Middle East. Saudi, Iraq, Iran, Libya even Afghanistan.

The US consumes more than 25% of the world's oil and holds only 6% of the reserves which have not been fully tapped into. The math is easy and your conclusion that US, UK and Canada are self-sufficient in terms of oil demand is certainly wrong.
