Mankind Makes War-Uses the Name of God to Legitimize Those Almighty God Did Not Authorize

Realizing that wars are a manifestation of mankinds' innate inability to be spiritual and loving in dealing with others, it is mankind that wars against neighbors and enemies without distinction. One will notice that in the Deuteronomy reference that, here and in Joshua for example, one can find the distinction where Almighty God pronounced judgment upon an evil people (the Canaanites for example) for the heinous deeds against the helpless, such as infant sacrifice as opposed to humans warring for the pride of it.

Without a Biblical reference except in the letter from James, we read of modern contemporary circumstances of Shiites fighting against Sunni, much in the same way as the Irish made distinctions to have war between Catholic and Protestants, or the tribal factiousness found in Africa.

In virtually all human situations of conflict and hostility, it is only called holy when the real evil spirit behind the stirs up the religious animosities for the sake of besmirching the Holy Name of the LORD, Jesus Christ. You will never find the actual term holy war in the Holy Bible unless it is in corrupted form.
