Freedom of speechReader comment on item: CAIR's Assault on Paul Harvey Submitted by abraham lonzo (United States), Dec 24, 2003 at 18:23 Oh how quick Cair reacted to destroy this historic voice! It seems that anyone dare say anything even resembling their opinion, here comes Cair to snuff it out. Why is it that Cair or anyone of the muslim faith may openly smear our country or our heritage and even openly destroy our faith, yet, if someone voices their objection to what is happening in Iraq, (only because it is a muslim country) and caring for our troops and the welfare of his country, he is put down swiftly? It seems that Cair is flexing its muscles to show the DANGER OF SAYING ANYTHING THAT MAY " OFFEND " THEM. I guess Cair has become the protector or ( THE RELIGIOUS POLICE THATS FOUND IN SHARIA LAW COUNTRIES ) of Islam. Someone needs to remind Cair, that we live in a democratic country, and that we may voice our opinions just like they do when they refer to us as the" Great Satan " or "Infidels". Its too bad that GE made such a swift move in punishing Paul Harvey. Surely they are an international company understanding freedom of speech is a right they wish they could excercise in countries like Saudi Arabia ect..Disappointed in Ohio Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
