Wrong on HarveyReader comment on item: CAIR's Assault on Paul Harvey Submitted by Aaron S. Field (United States), Dec 24, 2003 at 08:07 Dear Dr. Pipes,I usually find myself in agreement with you and I echo your concerns about the CAIR, but you've got it wrong on Paul Harvey. By failing to distinguish Islam from Islamism, as you are always careful to do, Mr. Harvey's "religion that encourages killing" comment was offensive and his apology was appropriate, notwithstanding the CAIR's objectionable tactics. Best, Aaron S. Field, M.D., Ph.D. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
