Re: Paul Harvey and CAIRReader comment on item: CAIR's Assault on Paul Harvey Submitted by Dan Katcher (United States), Dec 24, 2003 at 10:53 Perhaps what is needed is a clear cut message to those companies that pull their advertising under CAIR's threat that we, as consumers and American citizens, will stop buying their products if they capitulate to CAIR. By their action, they support suppression of freedom of speech, one of the bedrock principles upon which this country was built, and reaffirm CAIRS's influence. Their tactics can work both ways however, and we should also use use this tactic to send a message that we agree w Mr. Harveys assertions and that we do not support suppression of freedom of speech, about anything. Of course, the most logical solution is to shun such actions by CAIR altogether.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
