Jaladhi, you write: "Your statement is wrong when it comes to Islam."
Four remarks:
You take my statement out of context. Taking texts out of context is never helpful, on the contrary.
Texts in old ‘holy' books tend to deviate strongly from current day values and norms. The koran, the book of 1400 years young islam, is not an exception to that rule.
Your president seems to obtain all sorts of advice from his ‘higher Father'. For almost seven years now, he tends to act on His recommendations… This acting has directly and indirectly cost innumerable lives so far (for some unknown reason nobody seems to have been able to properly keep the score as far as Iraqi and Afghan lives are terminated prematurely, lives, I'm sure you know, are lived in the fear of Allah, muslim aka believers lives, in other words…).
So, here's one simple question for you: wouldn't my statement, taken out of context the way you do, also be wrong when it comes to 'christianity'?
