I have read all the comments so far, and am glad to hear that everyone seems to be in agreement on this issue.
Our great country and all of us individually are at risk from militant Islam. This enemy wants to destroy us. If we don't destroy it first, it eventually will. The federal government is asleep at the wheel, as usual. It's been back to business as usual there since a short time after 9/11. It seems to me that most of the measures taken by the government are half (or less) measures - band aids for airport security, little change in border inspections, fighting the war in Iraq on the cheap. The U.S. needs to send an unequivocal message to all militant Islamists that attempts to harm the U.S. will result in their very painful destruction.
On the particular issue of the Muslim chaplains, it is evident to any rational human being without a separate agenda that all current Muslim chaplains must be vetted.
