Cash for peace and less global warming

Reader comment on item: Fund the Palestinians? Bad Idea

Submitted by PDM (United States), Dec 21, 2007 at 13:34

We MUST continue to pay off the lords of islam. How else are we going to keep the gods (oops terrorists) from attacking us? The more we give them, the less we are attacked. It is completely logical. I know some cultures call this extortion, but this is just because that culture is not open minded. And besides, how do we in the west know it is not us that is the evil culture? Why should we think that teaching children to hate and murder is not a positive attribute? After all, it does promote the survival of islam and muslims. And for them, this is good.

If it works for them, maybe we should try it. Why should we question the practice of paying tribute to our lords and masters? After all, our ancestors made sacrifices to their gods. Why not proclaim muslims our gods, continue to pay them tribute and they will (like the gods before them) cause fewer floods and hurricanes and acts of terrorism. Hey, if we give them enough money maybe they will stop global warming!
