For those of us who eschew realpolitik for something less opaque, there has always been the impression that Naziism, Communism, and now Islamism are basically gangs, albeit a special type. When I say "special" I don't mean they are rare; rather I refer to the fact that most all gangs specialize in one or two activiites: gun-running, drug-running, car theft, rackets, numbers, etc. Naziism, Communism and Islamism specialize in looting government treasury. Like all gangs, their methods are crude and rough, involving murder, terror, extortion and mayhem, but their goal is the same: control absolutely the turf and income stream. That is why there is no political solution to the Israeli-Palestinian problem or other Democracy-Islam conflicts. They have nothing to do with idealogy, and everything to do with powerful Islamic gangs shaking down anyone and everyone for billions of dollars. Yassar Arafat makes Al Capone look like a runt street punk.

As we have seen in the inner cities of America, once a gang infests the landscape, it is virtually impossible to eradicate it unless the citizens are willing to put their own lives on the line and stand up to them by refusing to tithe their money over to them. America and the world needs to do the same thing with Islamism. Stop sending money to Arab gangs. When the shakedown no longer works, the gangs will disappear.
