Helping Palestinians

Reader comment on item: Fund the Palestinians? Bad Idea

Submitted by Janusz Kowalik (United States), Dec 19, 2007 at 17:49

Pouring millions of dollars into the Palestinian rathole is not and cannot be effective without some sensible conditions. The West should formulate precondtions for donating money to these poor but ignorant people who take the money and then scream "Death to America". It is hard to forget dancing Palestinians after the 9/11 brutal mass murder.

The conditions should be monitored by an independent international body of inspectors. Without such an arrangement no amount of money will buy peace and help to eliminate terrorism.
