Giving huge amounts of money to the Palestinians is like giving money to a heroin addict for rehab: he will take the money and buy more heroin. Why does our government, and other Western countries, try to play both sides? How can we support Israel and then turn around and give funds to further terrorism against it and other countries?

Assuming the graphs are to be believed, then there does seem to be a direct correlation between funding the Palestinians and terrorism. If Western countries really want to save the Palestinian people, then the money should rightfully be directed to relief organizations, like the Red Crescent, which in turn would redistribute it to wherever the money is really needed. And if we can't trust such relief organizations, then God help us, there is nothing left to do.
