Must Leave Iraq

Reader comment on item: Saddam's Damn Dam [i.e., The Mosul Dam]

Submitted by Michael (United States), Nov 13, 2007 at 16:40

The primary purpose of the military is to kill people and break things. They have accomplished their purpose. The mission to bring democracy to Iraq is not a military mission. There is no provision for democracy in islam. The followers of islam are taught to be slaves and servants of the immans who reveal the (truth) of allah.

Therefore we should leave and if needed return in a few years and do the military misson again. Then leave again. The sunni and shia can kill each other as long and as often as they desire. That should be of no interest to the US.
