this article typifies our situation in iraq, we should turn it over to the united nations and let them make the judgement of whether to stay or leave, let them decide what happens to the oil and the future of iraq. then we should look for an independent nominee for president if we can find someone who has the interest of the country instead of personal gain, someone other than a clinton or a bush.
we should tell the environmentalists to go to hell and open up the oil fields in this hemisphere and we don't need anwar, canada has lots of oil and so do we. nationalize the oil industry until we get things back on an even keel and close down the big oil companies they are nothing more than profit mongers. if we still depend on oil ten years from now and we shouldn't be, then god help us.
