Islamism comes from IslamReader comment on item: [Brandon Mayfield and] Preempt Terrorists, Or Not? Submitted by Nessie (Italy), Oct 9, 2007 at 18:00 I agree with you, Jaladhi. I don't appreciate so much all the sophisticated reasonings about the difference between Islam and Islamism. They are the products of political correctness. and hypocrisy. Many experts discuss about these shades of thought in Italy too. They talk a lot about "moderate muslims" etc. But as to me, I think that it's the global market that don't want to lose a very large sector of consumers from the Arabian countries. That's why in Europe they don't stop or control immigration from Northern Africa or other Arabian countries. Of course many muslims are not necessarily terrorists or fundamentalists. But it's sure that they bring with them very dated and old fashioned habits towards women and children. Bad habits like to beat them and treat them cruel. Bad habits that, after all, come from Koran. Religion is not only worship, but habits, way of living, of thinking, eating food, have festivals and party and above all, each religion is a special way of being. As our great Oriana Fallaci often wrote in their books. And the cohabitation among Christians and Muslims is always very difficult. In our homeland as well as abroad.
