In the Uk today,neither the government or indeed the people have reconciled themselves to the fact that we are fighting an existential war with Islamofascism.

Unlike previous wars this one has no unique starting point ie a Declaration of Hostilities and nor does it acknowledge set International Borders

Instead it is measured by seemingly isolated acts of terrorism , arrests ,foiled plots ,and abhorrent statements issued by Imams and political activists.

This random hatred for non Muslims, Homosexuals,so called apostates etc may give the outward appearance of a minority but close inspection reveals this to be a dangerous misconception and one that Western Democratic sensitivities are either oblivious to or non comprehending.

The stark reality is that up to now ,so called moderate Muslims have failed to make an absolute outright condemnation of Islamism ,its objectives and its means.

At best any such protest is accompanied by a disclaimer ie there is always an underlying reason for random acts of barbarism carried out on innocent people.

This usually takes the shape of Anglo American involvement in Irak /Afghanistan and of course Israel and the Palestinians.I have yet to hear one of our politicians stand up and say "that there can never be a grievance so great that requires a response which takesthe lives of hundreds possibly thousands of lives.

This failure to confront and reject Islamism is lamentable and will ultimately have far raeching consequences for the West.

Militant Islam has been ably aided and abetted by the so called liberal left .They have formed an unholy alliance which although matter of political expediency as they in turn loathe eachother nevertheless recognise their greater hate for America and Israel. They recognise that both these countriesform a formidable bulwark of resistance to their ambition of global domination in the case of Islamism and a return to some form of Communism for the left.

The US and Israel acknowledge this threat and respond accordingly.It is this forceful response which draws further hatred from these two heinous ideologies.The alternative is to capitulate as Europe is in the process of so doing.

I have spoken at length to Muslims ,some radical ,others not so .

The common denominator is a visceral hatredof Israel and the US and the fervent belief that given time both countries and their governments will crumble as if they never existed.

This in turn will lead to a progression to a anIslamic Caliphate and establishment of Sharia Law .

This may seem far fetched now but so was the Third Reich in the 1920s.

Either we stand up to this threat today or our children will reap the bitter harvest of hatred that we are only now beginning to comprehend.
