Saudi Arabian intolerance

Reader comment on item: Uniting to Exclude Saudi Arabian Airlines

Submitted by Kenneth T. Tellis (United States), Aug 22, 2007 at 17:24

If people are worried about Saudi Arabian laws that prohibit symbols of other religions entering the country, keep in mind who permitted the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from passing such bigotted laws in the first place? Was it not the West, including the U.S.? Way back in 1929, the last Christian church in Jiddah, Saudi Arabia called the Church of the Mother Eve, was taken down, stone from stone, without any protests from the West.

It is time to take positive action by banning Islamic symbols, schools and Mosques. If church and Synagogues cannot be built in Muslim countries, then Mosques should not be built in any Christian country or even in the State of Israel. If Muslims want tolerance, then they too, must practice it, otherwise they are making a mockery of tolerance.

Now, lets go to town on fighting Islamic intolerance, not just waste our time talking about it. When the Saudi's and other Muslims learn we mean business, they will come around. That is the way we can change the rules that Saudi Arabia now invokes.
